Who Are We?
Rick is a New Zealander who came to Uganda in 2018 on a mission trip with his wife and their four sons. They frequented churches, orphanages and homes and were so pleased to see how Jesus had his hand on the nation. They fell in love with the people of Uganda, and were deeply blessed. Returning in 2024 he reached out to Derick to join him in forming Bitflo Digital Limited. Rick is very optimistic about the future of Bitcoin and its potential to positively impact the nation.
Derick is a Ugandan national currently based in Dubai. He is returning to his home country at the end of 2024 to pursue opportunities with Bitflo. He has a Business Studies degree from Kyambogo University in Kampala. Using his experience in business he has successfully led a number of entrepreneurial projects contributing to the nation’s growth and development. He aims to bolster Uganda’s economy through Bitcoin mining initiatives, establishing Bitflo as a cornerstone of the nation’s infrastructure.
